Why is Girl Scouts membership failing? Both my daughters were Girl Scouts, one for a few weeks, and one for several years. What made the difference? The volunteers.  They make all the difference in the world. Yet, during my brief experience working for the GS, I found an organization that treated their volunteers (and, frankly, donors) like dirt. What’s your experience with Girl Scouts been like?

Should nonprofits be exempt from an increased minimum wage because they deliver a public/charitable service? Let’s not even go there.
