Rouge Valley Health System is a university-affiliated, community-based hospital that specializes in a number of different programs, including maternal and neonatal care in a state-of-the art birthing center and extensive pediatric services. An alum of my Nonprofit Storytelling Basics & More ecourse, RV is keenly aware of how to utilize the medium of video as a vehicle for communication, especially the storytelling kind.

In a video titled, My Rouge Valley Baby: Shelly & Rob’s Story, a couple talks about the two children they’ve brought into this world, and how Rouge Valley was heavily involved in their individual births and respective necessary medical care, providing safety, support, and comfort along the way. Now, with Rouge Valley’s help, Shelly and Rob’s son and daughter have blossomed into beautiful, healthy, lively children.

Saving young lives and improving the quality of them. Bringing families comfort and relief while providing a caring support system and nurturing environment. Facilitating births, including those that involve complications. Easing worries and fears. Rouge Valley does all this and more, and by focusing on the individual story of one family, they’ve shed some light on the incredible work that they do. Check out the video below! And don’t forget: registration for my ecourse, Nonprofit Storytelling | Basics & More, ends this Friday.
